Formed by a passionate team of versatile hospitality professionals, the people behind Numo have extensive experience in every part of a hotel’s development, from its inception and market positioning to successful conversions into international franchises and effortless operations.

Its key managers have an established track record of long-standing collaborations with prominent hospitality brands in Greece as well as abroad, having worked closely with global industry leaders, Marriott International and Hilton.

KONSTANTINOS TROULIS President & Partner

Konstantinos Troulis is a competent and effective business leader who focuses on the utilization of financial tools and the formulation of effective business policies. Konstantinos is a partner and President of NUMO, with more than 30 years of experience. He holds a degree in "Administration and Economics" with a specialization in the tourism sector. Throughout his career, he has put emphasis on always being updated with respect to the recent developments and state-of-the-art technologies and techniques in the fields of tourism and hospitality, in which he is mainly involved.

In 1988 he started working for his family businesses, which initially included the Troulis Apart-Hotel. He then played a key role in the realization of his family vision with the creation of the 5-star Hotel "The Royal Blue", and a little later the establishment of the "Troulis Royal Collection" company in which he is appointed as the Vice President as well as co-owner. His in-depth experience and insight he has gained so far has made him realize the importance of developing strong bonds with sophisticated companies and led to the cooperation of his family tourist resorts with a large and recognizable brand, finally leading to the cooperation with Hilton (Curio). His portfolio currently includes the "Troulis Apart-Hotel", "The Royal Blue", "The Royal Senses by Curio, Numo Ierapetra and upcoming projects.

With his ability in the formulation and implementation of effective strategic business policy and his experience, Konstantinos aims for the provision of high-quality hotel services in order to create a unique experience for the guests.

MANOLIS TROULIS CEO & Partner

OUR PEOPLE

A seasoned hospitality professional with over twenty years of experience, Manolis studied Tourism Management in Heraklion and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He kickstarted his career in 1995, working in the family’s first property, Troulis Apart-Hotel.

He was quick to realize the importance of luxury hotels in advancing Greece’s hospitality offering, thus creating, along with his family, the Troulis Royal Collection in 2005, where he currently serves as the Managing Director.

With two five-star hotels under its portfolio, the Royal Blue and the Royal Senses, which is also the first Curio by Hilton hotel in Greece, and the addition of Numo Hotels & Resorts, Manolis’s goal is to create high-quality hospitality products that are both contemporary and timeless.

HE WAS QUICK TO REALIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF LUXURY HOTELS IN ADVANCING GREECE’S HOSPITALITY OFFERING, THUS CREATING, ALONG WITH HIS FAMILY, THE TROULIS ROYAL COLLECTION IN 2005, WHERE HE CURRENTLY SERVES AS THE MANAGING DIRECTOR.

SPYROS KOURIS Managing Director & Partner

OUR PEOPLE

For Spyros, hospitality is more than a nine-to-five job, it’s a lifelong passion. His academic credentials include a Master of Science in International Hospitality Management at Strathclyde University, a PgD in Tourism Management at Northumbria University Business School, and a Bachelor in Tourism Management. His career started at the emblematic Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki, before moving to senior roles in corporate sales at Classical Hotels. His professional journey continued at Grecotel, where he held key operational roles at prestigious properties such as Amirandes, Cape Sounio Resort, and Baby Grand.

In 2016, he joined Domes Resorts as the Director of Operations, where he oversaw a portfolio of two Luxury Collection and two Autograph Collection resorts and held a pivotal role in the business development and communication between Domes and Marriott.

As the managing director of Numo, Spyros will utilize his wealth of experience to lead the company’s growth and establish it as a key hospitality player in the country.

AS THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NUMO, SPYROS WILL UTILIZE HIS WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE TO LEAD THE COMPANY’S GROWTH AND ESTABLISH IT AS A KEY HOSPITALITY PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY.

ZACHARIAS TROULIS Board Advisor & Partner

OUR PEOPLE

With a strong background in operations and a highly successful track record in sales, Zacharias is an established industry professional who is known for his energetic, results-driven approach.

He studied at the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, and before joining the family business he held various leadership roles at Mitsis Hotels, Rhodos Maris, and Rhodos Village. In his current role at The Royal Collection, he helped deliver an impressive year-on-year increase in sales and managed to establish The Royal Blue in key markets as one of Crete’s leading luxury resorts.

As a Board Advisor for Numo, Zacharias will support the company’s operations and participate in key managerial decisions that will drive the brand forward

MARIA FTHENOU Business Development Director & Partner

OUR PEOPLE

With over twenty years in luxury hospitality, Maria is a respected force in the industry as her versatile experience runs across key departments such as operations, sales, and marketing. She holds a BA in Tourism Management and a Master of Science (MSc) in Hospitality Management from the American College of Greece, and certification for Hospitality Sales & Negotiation Skills from Cornell University. Her work experience includes collaborations with leading brands, including Grecotel and Accor, and affiliations such as Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Leading Hotels of the World.

From 2016 until 2020, she served as the Quality Assurance and Brand Standards Manager of Domes Resorts, overseeing all relevant certifications that safeguarded the operating standards of the portfolio’s properties. She also led the successful openings and conversions of two Marriott Luxury Collection resorts and an Autograph Collection Resort.

As the Business Development Director and partner at Numo Hotels & Resorts, Maria uses her positive attitude and multifaceted skills to fast-track the development of the brand, ensuring it meets the high-quality standards of Numo.

MATINA ARGYRIOU Director of Sales

With over fourteen years of sales experience, Matina is tasked with positioning and developing the sales channels for Numo Hotels & Resorts in key international markets including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and Germany.

She has a Post Graduate Degree in Hospitality Operations focused on Hospitality Supervision from Monterey Peninsula College and has worked for established hospitality companies such as Classical Hotels, Divani, and Aquis. Matina’s previous role has been Assistant Director of Sales at Hilton Athens, a position she held for six years.

FILIMON TELELIS Director of Revenue

OUR PEOPLE

An accomplished senior executive, Filimon brings over fifteen years of experience to Numo Hotels & Resorts. He studied at the School of Tourism Professions and also holds a degree in business administration, while his experience includes working for major companies in the industry that include Grecotel, Aldemar, and the Myconian Collection.

Before joining Numo, Filimon worked as the Cluster Revenue Manager at Kanava Hotels & Resorts. He successfully oversaw the room inventory management and pricing strategy for prestigious properties from the Luxury Collection, such as Mystique and Vedema, achieving high ADRs throughout the seasons.

Zoniro SA is a leading developer in Greece spanning more than 12 years of integrated resort development experience.
